Due to lack of snow, the Chamber regrettably has canceled the 2012 Foresthill Sled Dog Winter Classic Race for March 10/11. We wish to thank our race sponsors, the Sierra Nevada Dog Drivers, One Track Mind Snowmobile Club, Tahoe National Forest Service, the many businesses who contributed raffle prizes and our volunteers for their hours of service. We did our very best to organize the race this year, but the one team member we needed - Mother Nature, left us high and dry. We hope you (and SNOW) will join us in 2013 for the Foresthill Sled Dog Winter Classic.

Tevis Cup Fun Ride, May 18/20, 2012.

Riders and support teams camp at the Bath Rd Mill Site and travel portions of the Western States Trail with experienced Tevis Riders to prepare for the Tevis Cup Ride on August 4th. There will be vendor booths on Saturday and a riders BBQ Saturday night with live entertainment.

Visitors are welcome to stop by the Mill Site to meet the riders and horses and learn more about this amazing endurance sport from those who love it!

Experience the thunder of 300 motorcycles riding 'en-masse' from China Wall into downtown Foresthill. Meet and greet the riders at the BBQ on Main St.
